Zolowear Ring Slings Production

Darien Wilson is the mother behind the fabulous Zolowear ring slings.

Her daughter Zoe Love, born on Valentine’s Day 2000, was carried in a sling all day. Darien loved the freedom she had with her ring sling but the padding was just too hot under Texas heat! It was like wearing a blanket under the sun.

So Darien decided to sew her own ring sling, without padding to avoid bulk and overheating. She stitched up cool ring slings during Zoe’s short naps on her old sewing machine. She had this fantastic idea of sewing a patch pocket with zipper closure to keep her belongings safe while out and about with her baby.

Soon everybody wanted the same pretty sling she was using to carry her daughter. This is how Zolowear was born, in August 2001.

Darien, founder of Zolowear, is carrying in Jade Lite silk brocade ring sling. The sling shown on the photo is the older version of the brocade slings. The new version, available on BebeCannelle, has only one layer of silk and is much lighter.
