Darien Wilson is the mother behind the fabulous <a href="/collections/zolowear">Zolowear ring slings</a>. Her daughter Zoe Love, born on Valentine’s Day 2000, was carried in a sling all day. Darien loved the freedom she had with her ring sling but the padding was just too hot under Texas heat! It was like wearing a blanket under the sun. So Darien decided to sew her own <a href="/collections/zolowear">ring sling</a>, without padding to avoid bulk and overheating. She stitched up cool <a href="/collections/zolowear">ring slings</a> during Zoe’s short naps on her old sewing machine. She had this fantastic idea of sewing a patch pocket with zipper closure to keep her belongings safe while out and about with her baby. Soon everybody wanted the same pretty <a href="/collections/zolowear">sling</a> she was using to carry her daughter.
